Canadian International School of Phnom Penh

Our Story

In 2012, with purpose and vigor, our Founders established an international school that provides world-renowned education to build the youth of today into the leaders of tomorrow.

We are the Canadian International School of Phnom Penh.

With three campuses, we adopted the Alberta Province curriculum to educate more than 600 students from over 35 countries around the world. Our faculty, staff and administrators are dedicated to the advancement of our students in academics, extra-curricular activities and civic engagement.

As the only school in the city with two bilingual programs in French and Mandarin, our class-offerings are unparalleled and opportunities for student-growth are endless. We also have thriving visual and performing arts initiatives.

We take great pride in providing education programs to children as young as 18 months. We have dedicated our Olympia City and Bassac Garden campuses to early childhood education inspired by the Reggio-Emilia approach to play-based learning.

Over the next three years we are expanding our main campus on Koh Pich (Diamond Island) and will be a full kindergarten to Grade 12, International Baccalaureate accredited institution.

While we currently have state-of-the-art facilities, we are adding an aquatics center, black box theatre, makerspace and fitness center.

In 2023, we will celebrate our first cohort of graduates.

Our community is expanding—and we always have room for more.
